ABOUT ABOUT

The New Klezmer Quintet, combining klezmer, jazz, rock, and Israeli in a first-of-its-kind unique blend, has wowed concert audiences for years. Performing throughout the USA and featured on NPR, this amazing group of musicians has created a new sound with widespread appeal. In addition to their regular following, their special blend of music has attracted a large number of new fans from varied backgrounds who had never heard klezmer before.

This is a benefit concert for the Religion and Society Center honoring Michael Sand a long-term supporter of the Religion and Society Center and all of its programs.  He will be honored for his lifetime dedication to diversity and interfaith understanding.  The Religion and Society Center supports more than a dozen programs that support interfaith dialogue, cooperation and celebration.
